3. Product information
UK Jellyfish provide live jellyfish to their customers. When jellyfish are purchased the buyer is accepting our arrive alive policy. Jellyfish are fully guaranteed for our customers “peace of mind” up until their delivery. If a jellyfish perishes in transit to our customers they are fully covered to receive another replacement jellyfish. If the customers jellyfish perishes in transit and would prefer a refund instead of a replacement they are entitled to a partial refund. A partial refund will be determined via communication between the customer and ourselves.
Customers are responsible for researching jellyfish and their environment before purchasing jellyfish. UK Jellyfish will not ask details regarding your aquarium set up, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide suitable environment for jellyfish purchased.
Terms of Live good’s refund.
The customer must provide photographic evidence that the jellyfish perished in transit. This can be sent in the form of a picture / video to email@example.com An approved image would be for example, a damaged jellyfish inside the clear fish transport bags that they are shipped in. This evidence should be provided within 14 days of delivery.
Shipping of Live goods.
Jellyfish are delivered either on the customers preferred delivery date (Customers can specify delivery dates in the delivery note field.) or if no information is provided the jellyfish will be shipped the next working day. Jellyfish stock can be variable, In the case we have no jellyfish stock there is a 1 month waiting period until the jellyfish can be raised again ready to ship. By making a purchase the customer is agreeing to the possibility that jellyfish may have to be raised and shipped within one month from the order date. Please contact UK Jellyfish before making a purchase to check availability.
UK Jellyfish provide dry goods, example; Aquariums, Food, Parts… These items are guaranteed until delivery. In the case that a dry goods item is delivered damaged the customer is entitled to a replacement product or full or partial refund. Replacement products can be dispatched after UK Jellyfish have received the returned damaged item. A partial refund may be determined via communication between the customer and ourselves. Returns must be made within 14 days of delivery.
Shipping of Aquariums.
UK Jellyfish Aquariums are bespoke manufactured in the UK. There is a two week lead time on shipping Aquariums. When there is stock available aquariums will be shipped within two working days. Please contact UK Jellyfish before making a purchase to check availability.
4. Right to cancel
All customers have the right to cancel their orders under the The Distance Selling Regulations which gives consumers extra protection when buying online. Specific legislation here that applies is regulation of The Distance Selling Regulations.
You have the right to cancel the purchase of a good without having to give a reason at any time before the good is in transit.
If you are in possession of the goods you are not in a position to cancel.
We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.
You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of any of the following goods:
The Dome Aquarium (Due to the fact this product is custom made to order.)
For the supply of goods the price of which is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the retailer.
for the supply of good made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software if they are unsealed by you.
All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site ukjellyfish.co.uk. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter.) In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressees.
These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
